Netlink provide a fully automated online backup solution to securely backup Windows based Laptops, Desktops or servers over the internet. Provided you have a Broadband Internet connection, you can use our service to make sure your data is stored safely and securely every day.

Netlink provide two tiers of service for our Remote Backup solution. The first is aimed at Small to Medium Organisations to enable them to backup Laptops, Desktops and Servers. The second is aimed at larger organisations or those with large volumes or advanced types (SQL, Exchange) of data to backup.

The Remote Backup solution requires an "agent" to be installed on the machines to be backed up. This agent has an easy to use interface and powerful encryption and compression for your data security. It uses a binary incremental technology to ensure that once you have sent your initial backup, from then on only the binary increments or the differential is sent. In short, that means that your backups will be very quick.

Netlink Remote Backup can generally be used as an alternative to unreliable, expensive and time consuming tape backup solutions and gives a fully mirrored and supported offsite backup service.

Online data storage of encrypted information provides a safe, reliable and cost effective alternative to traditional backup and data storage services, although many of our customers use Netlink Remote Backup to use their un-used Broadband Internet connection overnight to ensure that Business Critical data is securely stored off-sight. No more worrying about whether you put the tapes in the safe again!
