"Broker Assistance are a motor claims company, helping people overcome the affects of accidents by arranging temporary replacement vehicles, vehicle repair services, recovery of uninsured losses and legal representation.
The business was set up in spring 2003 in Warrington, Cheshire and the initial team of 16 people were operational within two months. At the heart of the business is an advanced motor claims management system.
Balancing infrastructure needs, quality of service and cost are no more finely focused than in start up organisations. Netlink have a reputation for creating cost effective IT infrastructures and this made them an ideal partner. Richard Tubb at Netlink developed the architecture and planned and implemented a fully functional IT infrastructure including server operations, mail, electronic fax, desktop, laptop and document management services, integrated telephony, web based capabilities with secure remote access and management. Innovative approaches to incorporating latest technologies have enabled the business to work with customers and partners in an extremely efficient and cost effective way.
The true tests of infrastructure are reliability, availability and scalability. The business is totally dependent on its IT systems and the IT infrastructure has not let it down. Secure remote access has enabled Netlink IT to provide rapid resolution of problems and offsite support to users. Software distribution and security management are automated. Operational resilience and remote backup techniques have been incorporated.
The operation has now grown to 40 people and continues to be well served by the IT Infrastructure that Netlink Trading established and supports. Without the tireless efforts of Netlink, Broker Assistance would not have achieved its business goals and built its reputation for high quality, adaptable services.
